Exhibition 'High-rise buildings as a form of densification'
Tuesday, September 11, 2018
The housing challenge is enormous and space is limited.
Several municipalities in North Holland North are focusing on high-rise buildings. What effect will this have on the city and the surrounding environment? What context is being sought or created?
AIA (Architecture Information Center Alkmaar), together with BNA (Branchevereniging Nederlandse Architectenbureaus, network Noord-Holland Regional), is organizing the exhibition 'High-rise buildings as a form of densification'.
The exhibition can be visited freely from September 6 to Sunday, September 30, 2018, in TAQA Theater De Vest in Alkmaar.
The exhibition features 10 recent high-rise projects in North Holland by various architects, including the Heerhugowaard Station Area project.
